About the position
The Network IT Support professional at Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the network infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance. This position involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining essential network hardware, managing network security protocols, and providing technical support for various IT-related issues. The role requires collaboration with fellow IT staff on larger projects, making it essential for candidates to be proactive problem-solvers with a passion for technology.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain network hardware.
- Manage network security protocols.
- Provide technical support for internet connectivity, email, software applications, and hardware peripherals.
- Collaborate with IT staff on larger projects.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in information technology or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least two (2) years of experience in network support or IT technical support required.
- A+ and Network+ certifications preferred.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure AD.
- Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and anti-virus systems.
- Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network hardware and software.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
