About the position

The Network Operations Center Analyst at QinetiQ US is responsible for maintaining system data accuracy and providing analytical support within the data and technology group. This role involves identifying and resolving network performance issues, optimizing network infrastructure, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various teams. The analyst will utilize statistical methods to analyze data and develop solutions to business problems, ultimately advising management on findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remediate degraded performances or network outages.
• Create best practices to optimize network infrastructure and how endpoint functions.
• Provide analytical support to Operations and Information Technology.
• Collect and organize information from various sources.
• Analyze and ensure the accuracy of system data.
• Conduct interviews with employees and managers.
• Identify and solve problems in various fields or specialized areas.
• Enhance workflow and cross-departmental engagements.
• Use statistical methods to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems.
• Advise managers on findings and the various courses they can take to address the problem.
• Write memos and reports for managers to look over the findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Two or more years proven work experience as an Operations Analyst or similar role.
• Degree in Information Technology (IT) or equivalent is preferred.
• Mathematical skills to process complex calculations.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and support multiple teams effectively.
• Valid U.S. Driver's license required.
