As a Network Operations Engineer III at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the 24/7 operation of our In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) products. This position involves diagnosing and troubleshooting complex ground network issues while coordinating with peers and staff within the Customer Performance Center. You will lead and execute ongoing technical and interface applications specific to successful ground and satellite network operations. Your responsibilities will include leading network operations and management best practices, working on complex ground and satellite network operations, and providing timely responses to customer escalations. You will also be responsible for planning and implementing network upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches in collaboration with engineering groups. In addition to network operations, you will lead the maintenance and administration of network monitoring and management systems for both ground and satellite networks. This includes validating equipment configuration changes to ensure maximum uptime on critical systems and providing on-call support for production systems. You will also be involved in researching and recommending new documentation tools and methods to improve documentation efforts. Your role will require you to analyze project requirements, collaborate with service and support staff, and ensure that final documents align with Panasonic Avionics Corporation's standards.
