About the position

The Network Operations Manager (NOM) at Brillio plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization's network infrastructure. This position involves overseeing daily network operations, managing network performance, and implementing security protocols to protect against cyber threats. The NOM will lead a team, coordinate with various IT departments, and manage relationships with service providers to enhance network performance and support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily network operations to ensure efficient performance.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and health using specialized tools.
  • Manage network traffic, troubleshoot issues, and resolve network outages.
  • Respond to network incidents and outages, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Investigate and diagnose network issues, coordinating with technical teams to implement fixes.
  • Establish protocols for incident response and ensure adherence during network issues.
  • Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
  • Monitor for security breaches, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Coordinate with the security team to manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.
  • Manage and plan for network infrastructure upgrades to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Schedule regular maintenance activities and ensure they are executed with minimal disruption.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and deployment of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Lead the network operations team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams to maintain network performance.
  • Delegate tasks within the team, ensure accountability, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
