About the position

The Network Operations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the network engineering team, ensuring the effective management and support of hosted Data Centers, and facilitating the transition of on-premises networks to cloud environments, particularly Azure. This role requires extensive experience in Cisco networking and cloud technologies, along with leadership capabilities to guide the team in achieving operational excellence.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a network engineering role in a Cisco environment
• 3+ years of experience in supporting and managing hosted Data Centers
• 3+ years of experience working in an Azure environment
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Nice-to-haves

• 10 years of experience in a network engineering role in a Cisco environment
• 8 years of experience in supporting and managing hosted Data Centers
• 8 years of experience working in an Azure environment
• Experience transitioning an On-Prem network to the cloud, preferably Azure
• Certifications - CCNA or CCNP (R&S) preferred
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on administration experience with Cisco Networking Equipment (Routers, Switches, Wireless, Firewalls, etc.)
• Automating network deployments
• Cisco DNA administration
• BGP/OSPF architecture and design
• SD-WAN with Cloud Integration
• Cisco Nexus Dashboard administration
• Data Center Management
• Python, Ansible or Terraform administration
• Monitoring/Observability tools (Dynatrace)
