About the position

The Network Security Engineer - IV position is a critical role focused on architecting and implementing robust network security solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, particularly in the context of modern networking architectures such as SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), SSE (Security Service Edge), and ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access). The successful candidate will be responsible for driving systems and software requirements, collaborating with product teams and engineers to design effective solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software architecture. In this role, you will create comprehensive network security designs, documentation, and presentations that communicate complex security concepts to various stakeholders. You will also contribute to thought leadership activities, sharing insights and best practices with your team to enhance the overall security posture of the organization. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards that mitigate vulnerabilities and protect the organization's assets. The position demands a proactive approach to network security, requiring hands-on experience in designing Network as a Service solutions within a service provider environment. You will leverage your strong knowledge of firewalls, cybersecurity aspects, and network monitoring fundamentals to ensure the integrity and security of the network infrastructure. Additionally, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and identity provider solutions will be crucial for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Networking
  • 12+ years of experience in Networking Security Architectures
  • Expertise in Cyber Security, Device Security
  • Experience with SASE, SSE, and ZTNA SDWAN solutions
  • Knowledge in Designing and Monitoring Web Security Gateways, Perimeter Security, Network access controls, and Endpoint Security
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortigate NGFW
  • Strong knowledge of Security Policies, Procedures, Standards, and developing technical solutions to avoid Security Vulnerabilities
  • Experience in Designing Network as a Service solutions in a Service Provider Environment
  • Strong knowledge in handling general Firewalls and Cyber Security aspects
  • Familiarity with Network Monitoring fundamentals using Netflix/IPFix
  • Understanding of IDS/IPS fundamentals
  • Experience with AWS cloud platform
  • Strong knowledge in implementing Identity Provider solutions

  • 4G/5G Telecommunications Experience

  • Integration experience with Third-party software
  • Experience with code reviews in Angular and NodeJS
