About the position

The Network Security Engineer position focuses on managing and enhancing network security through the implementation and maintenance of Palo Alto firewalls in a complex environment. The role requires extensive experience in network security, particularly with Palo Alto technologies, and involves both design and operational responsibilities in a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls in a 100+ firewall environment.
• Design and implement network security solutions using Palo Alto technologies.
• Configure and manage Panorama/Pan-OS for centralized management of firewalls.
• Implement and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF routing protocols in PAN-OS.
• Inspect and manage SSL encrypted traffic for security compliance.
• Ensure high availability (HA) clustering of network security devices.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in Network Security.
• 5+ years of experience specifically with Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Proven experience in Palo Alto design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Panorama/Pan-OS.
• Experience with BGP and OSPF routing in PAN-OS.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI model.
• Experience with HA Clustering.
