The Information Security Specialist role will work as a mid-level Network Security Engineer and report to the Information Security Team Leader. In this role, you will support the Global Security Infrastructure of the firm, using technologies to manage risk in the environment. You will create templates, processes, and workflows while collaborating with IT/Technology teams and Project Management teams. Additionally, you will develop processes to support departmental and company goals, design upgrades of existing security infrastructure, and work on projects with the business and IT to develop or integrate systems while addressing and reducing risk. Participation in the team on-call rotation may also be required as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Security Infrastructure of the firm
  • Use technologies to manage risk in the environment
  • Create templates, processes, and workflows while working with IT/Technology teams and Project Management teams
  • Develop processes to support departmental and company goals
  • Design upgrades of existing security infrastructure
  • Work with the business and IT to develop or integrate systems while addressing and reducing risk
  • Participate in team on-call rotation as needed

Requirements

  • 5-7 years experience working in a Network Security and Firewall Technology role within an enterprise environment
  • Advanced experience supporting Palo Alto Firewalls with Panorama (physical and virtual platforms); firewall policy development and deployment required
  • Experience with deploying policy and supporting for Prisma Access (SASE)
  • Experience supporting firewalls in IaaS cloud
  • Analyze risk associated with onboarding new applications/technology
  • Knowledgeable in supporting PKI (SSL/TLS) protocols
  • Solid foundational understanding of IP routing/switching concepts
  • Solid knowledge in troubleshooting TCP/IP protocol; packet capture analysis skills required using tools such as Wireshark
