About the position

The Network Security Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the Boundary Security Program at Insight Global, Inc. This position involves the design, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of the Agency's networks, with a strong focus on security measures. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in network security engineering, particularly with Palo Alto firewalls and proxy technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network security solutions for the Agency's existing networks.
• Maintain and upgrade network security systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security measures into network architecture.
• Monitor network traffic for security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph from Maryland Customer.
• Security+ Certification.
• Senior-level experience in Network Security Engineering from design to implementation.
• Expert level experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with Sonic Wall and Cisco firewalls is a plus.
• Strong proxy experience, specifically with Bluecoat Semantec Proxies or Firewalls.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional security tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in network security.
