About the position

The Network Security Engineer at AIG is responsible for deploying, tuning, and maintaining security policies to protect sensitive company information and mitigate security threats. This hands-on role requires expertise in various network security technologies and aims to ensure the efficacy of protections and detections within the corporate network.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, tune, and maintain security policies to protect sensitive information.
• Mitigate security threats to the corporate network, assets, data, and users.
• Lead areas of the network security engineering team to test changes to network security solutions.
• Identify, test, and implement new network security solutions.
• Ensure effectiveness of network security protections and detections.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a large enterprise network environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in network security technologies such as Palo Alto Firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Strong knowledge of general information security controls.
• Ability to understand the impact of security capabilities on management, administration, and business applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cloud Security solutions.
• Familiarity with network access control (NAC) and DNS security.
