About the position
The Network Security Engineer will be a key member of the M&A team, responsible for hands-on tasks such as building data centers, migrating services between data centers, and connecting to cloud services. This role requires a strong background in networking and security technologies, with a focus on practical implementation and project management.
Responsibilities
- Build and configure data centers.
- Migrate services from one data center to another.
- Connect services to cloud platforms.
- Implement and manage network security measures.
- Utilize firewalls and load balancers effectively.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Networking, including LAN/WAN, Firewalls, wireless, Security and encryption technologies.
- Knowledge of Cisco and Arista product portfolio.
- Experience with Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Experience with F5 or Citrix Netscaler load balancers.
- Experience with SASE technologies like Prisma Access or Netscaler.
- Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
- Advanced knowledge of Project Management methodology and best practices.
- Knowledge of network diagnostics, BGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, MPLS technologies.
