About the position

The Network Security Engineer role involves ensuring the security of network systems through configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of various security devices and services. This position is remote and is expected to last for a duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for configuration and installation of basic small office firewall/IPS/VPN systems.
• Configuration of edge switches/routers as needed to support security architectures.
• Provisioning and troubleshooting basic network security services.
• Basic installation/provisioning of wireless LAN security.
• Configure products from multiple security vendors, including but not limited to Fortinet, Cisco, and AirTight.

Requirements

• Experience with configuring and installing firewalls, IPS, and VPN systems.
• Knowledge of edge switches and routers configuration.
• Ability to provision and troubleshoot network security services.
• Familiarity with wireless LAN security installation and provisioning.
• Experience with security products from vendors like Fortinet, Cisco, and AirTight.
