About the position

The Network Security Vulnerability Engineer at US Tech Solutions is responsible for ensuring the security of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment. This role involves bridging the gap between legacy development and operations teams, ensuring developers create secure systems while enhancing user privacy. The engineer will conduct security audits, risk analysis, application-level vulnerability testing, and security code reviews, while also developing and implementing solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities and researching new attack vectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform security audits and risk analysis.
• Conduct application-level vulnerability testing and security code reviews.
• Develop and implement technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Research to identify new attack vectors.
• Bridge the gap between legacy development and operations teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in developing and implementing technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of Network and End-point Security and Asset Tracking solutions.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and traffic analysis.
• Experience with Axonius cybersecurity asset tracking, Tenable.io, and Tanium vulnerability management solutions.
• Ability to create reports and dashboards using PowerBI and Python scripting.
