About the position

The Network Solution Architect is responsible for developing and presenting conceptual and solution architectures to senior staff and business stakeholders. This role ensures that applications and servers adhere to best practices, promoting reusability and alignment with business needs. The architect acts as a change agent, leading all stages of the project life cycle and collaborating with the Enterprise Architecture Review Council to secure approvals and insights for sustainable service and application solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present conceptual and solution architectures to senior staff and business stakeholders.
• Ensure applications and servers adhere to best practices, maximizing reusability and alignment with business needs.
• Act as a Change Agent, promoting enhanced methodologies and newer technologies within the team.
• Lead all stages of the project life cycle, from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design, and implementation.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture Review Council to secure approvals, gain insights, and ensure sustainable service and application solutions.
• Drive the adoption of architectural modeling, service-oriented architecture, and enterprise information management best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; specialized training in relevant areas.
• 8-15 years of experience across multiple IT domains, with 5-7 years in technology architecture.
• Proficiency with Network Access Control (NAC), Cisco ISE, and Cisco DNA.
• Strong knowledge of EA frameworks, networking technologies, and experience in SOA and enterprise services.
• Transportation industry experience preferred.
