Job Summary:
This position is responsible for maintenance, support and implementation of networking and infrastructure systems managed by University of Kentucky, Information Technology Services, Networking and Infrastructure. This includes network devices, security devices, and all supporting systems including monitoring and logging systems. This position supports functions critical to the operation of the University. This position will help drive operational excellence, provide continuous process and service improvement, and manage key performance metrics.
Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work in both an incident response and project implementation atmosphere. Unique professionals who thrive on problem-solving, taking on new challenges, working with clients and keeping up with new technology will be a great fit for this opportunity. This position requires dedication, persistence, effective time management and excellent customer service.
Skills /Knowledge/Abilities:
