About the position

The Senior Network Support Engineer is responsible for providing advanced network support and solutions, focusing on the deployment and integration of network technologies. This role requires a strong background in network equipment and security management, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. The position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote and on-site work in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced network support and troubleshooting for Cisco network equipment.
• Deploy and integrate network solutions for mergers and acquisitions.
• Manage and configure Fortinet firewalls and security protocols.
• Ensure optimal performance of wireless networks and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Work with F5 load balancers and application delivery technologies to enhance network performance.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to communicate network solutions and updates.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in a senior network support role or similar position.
• Proficiency with Cisco network equipment (routers, switches, wireless).
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and security management.
• Strong knowledge of wireless network setup and troubleshooting.
• Experience with F5 load balancers and application delivery technologies.
• Ability to deploy and integrate network solutions for mergers and acquisitions.
• Understanding of firewall rules, network security, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with teams and stakeholders.
