About the position

The Network Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of various network systems and computer systems. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of LAN, WLAN, WAN, and VPN networks, as well as providing technical support for hardware and software. The administrator will also monitor and upgrade existing systems and consult with users to gather specifications for network and system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and support networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN) and computer systems (software and hardware).
• Review, monitor, and upgrade existing systems.
• Consult with users to determine specifications for networks, hardware, and software.
• Provide network, hardware, software, and security support to assist in administering, modifying, and maintaining network configurations.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years' experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting networks and network systems.
• Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, Network+, Server+, and VCA/VCP are preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree and four years' experience with network systems is preferred.
• Previous I/S experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
