About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a Network / System Engineer for a contract position in the financial industry. The role involves managing multiple platforms and ensuring the proper setup and maintenance of devices in various environments. The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, inventory management, and supporting application deployment and network issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage 13 different Platforms across Advisory and Call Center in PL1, PL2, and QA environments with over 800 desktops and laptops and ~700 HVD's.
• Support from the time a machine is out of the box to setting it up on a network, installing the core build, Microsoft and other security patch updates, and the Platform stack.
• Report to the office daily and oversee managing the Master Inventory sheet, which is a record of all the physical devices in the labs.
• Keep machines online, receive any new inventory, and troubleshoot devices that cannot be accessed remotely.
• Work on ticket requests for both physical machines and HVD's on a daily/weekly basis.
