About the position

The Network/System Engineer role is focused on leveraging networking expertise and programming skills to enhance network security and performance. The position requires a strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and experience in Python development, with a collaborative approach to working with international teams.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of programming experience, preferably in Python, but experience in other object-oriented languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, R, Ruby, Perl, PHP is also welcome.
• Strong understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack.
• Experience with firewalls, access control lists (ACLs), Intrusion Detection Prevention technologies, and other network security equipment.
• Working knowledge of security threat vectors such as Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, networking, network security, and application security.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with overseas partners.
• Ability to work without oversight.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and architecture, as well as an understanding of Content Delivery Networks.

Nice-to-haves

• CISSP, CCIE, CEH, CCNA certifications are desired but not required.
