The Network/Systems Administrator 4 position at GovCIO involves supporting a newly awarded customer contract through remote work. Responsibilities
- Monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network.
- Monitors all network activity and activates/deactivates network lines according to established schedules.
- Performs first- and/or second-level problem determination, interfacing with users and/or network vendors.
- Installs and maintains network equipment, including switches, hubs, and UPSs.
- Performs site network proposal walk-throughs and creates network plant proposals using graphical representation software.
- Maintains and repairs the network infrastructure, including operating systems and routers.
- Troubleshoots and resolves network problems to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance, and limited troubleshooting.
Requirements
- High School diploma with 9+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
- 5 years experience with Windows systems administration.
- Must have an active HUD Public Trust clearance.
