About The Position

The Network Systems Administrator at Sanmina Corporation is responsible for supporting the day-to-day IT operations of the manufacturing facility. The role focuses on ensuring maximum uptime and profitability by maintaining key systems, managing hardware and software, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in network systems administration.
  • Ability to work based on goals and deliver timely resolutions.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems (XP, 7, 10).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in both team and individual settings.
  • Knowledge of Office Suite applications.
  • Intermediate networking knowledge including Ethernet and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Linux is a plus.
  • Project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, upgrade, install, and troubleshoot servers and networking hardware devices.
  • Support and maintain system backups, user and server security, and user account management.
  • Manage e-mail systems and Active Directory environment.
  • Support and maintain servers, network, production equipment, desktop hardware, and printers.
  • Configure and manage Chrome OS and G Suite applications.
  • Attend various meetings related to networking and telecommunications.
  • Update and maintain enterprise anti-virus and anti-malware software.
  • Provide PBX telecommunications support and maintain voicemail systems.
  • Propose needs analysis and implement system enhancements.
  • Upgrade, install, and maintain IT environmental monitoring equipment.
  • Work with external entities to install and maintain on-site equipment.
  • Develop and create reference documents for applications and processes.
  • Handle confidential information and comply with IT security policies.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Perform orientation and training for new staff and mentor tech support personnel.
  • Conduct training sessions for peers and employees as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and parts and supplier contacts.
