About the position

The Network / Systems Engineer at eGroup Enabling Technologies is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures, with a focus on on-premise Microsoft Azure and Data Center solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in networking and cloud solutions to deliver effective and secure services to clients across the nation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures utilizing Cisco routers and switches.
• Develop and deploy secure and scalable network architectures to support business needs.
• Integrate Cisco wireless solutions, ensuring optimal coverage and performance.
• Configure and manage Cisco routers and switches for reliable and secure network operations.
• Implement advanced routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and Layer 2/3 switching technologies.
• Perform network optimization and troubleshooting to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Configure and manage Cisco firewalls (ASA, Firepower) to protect network assets and enforce security policies.
• Implement and maintain network security solutions, including VPNs, ACLs, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management to ensure network integrity.
• Implement Microsoft Azure Express Route and manage Azure Networking components.

Requirements

• Active Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification (if CCNP is not active, it must be renewed within 90 days).
• Broad technical hands-on experience with on-premises Data Center solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.

Nice-to-haves

• VMware VCP-DCV certification.
• Microsoft AZ-700 certification.
• Microsoft AZ-104 certification.
