About the position

As a Network Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our rapidly expanding InfoSec team within a global manufacturing leader in Aerospace and DoD components. This position is essential for managing and documenting IT and security risks using a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool. You will be responsible for performing network vulnerability assessments and coordinating remediation efforts, working closely with senior team members and management to ensure the integrity and availability of all network and server resources. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a secure and efficient network environment, which is vital for our operations and compliance with industry standards. In this role, you will also engage in system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of network resources. This includes analyzing system performance, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and implementing necessary security measures to protect our infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Manage and document IT and Security risks in a GRC tool.
  • Perform network vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with guidance from senior team members and management.
  • Perform system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of all network and server resources.

Requirements

  • One or more of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, (ISC) SSCP, GIAC GSEC or similar certification.
  • Equivalent work experience or an associate's degree in Information Technology or Cyber Security may also be considered.
