About the position

This position provides essential support for hospital networks, focusing on design, coordination, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The role involves supporting server hardware and software, including configuration, installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Additionally, the position is responsible for system administration and 24x7 technical support for the Radiology PACS system, Internet Firewall, and remote system connectivity. The role also includes researching, testing, and implementing new information systems technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for hospital networks through design, coordination, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support server hardware and software including configuration, installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Provide system administration and 24x7 technical support for the Radiology PACS system, Internet Firewall, and remote system connectivity.
• Research, test, and implement new IS technology.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience with Microsoft OS/NOS and server applications.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, switching/routing, VPN, and LAN/WAN topologies.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software including troubleshooting and repair techniques, and networking principles.

Nice-to-haves

• Significant experience with VMWare (ESXi and Horizon), Veeam, MS Exchange, and Active Directory configuration and management.
