St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a dedicated Network Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Allentown, PA. The Network Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the recruitment efforts for assigned departments, which includes a variety of tasks such as interviewing, hiring, advertising job openings, and coordinating recruitment events. This role serves as a vital resource for employees, managers, and applicants, facilitating communication and support throughout the recruitment process. In this position, the specialist will perform all recruitment activities for their assigned departments, which involves opening, updating, and maintaining job postings within the Workday system. The specialist will consult with department managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on employment policies, interviewing processes, and recruitment initiatives. A key part of the role includes screening applications and resumes, referring qualified candidates to the appropriate managers, and conducting interviews to evaluate candidates' capabilities. The specialist will also be responsible for checking employment references, evaluating credentials, and developing employment offers in line with the organization's salary administration program. Additionally, the Network Talent Acquisition Specialist will handle pre-employment processes, including arranging physical examinations and initiating employment paperwork, which involves completing necessary background checks. The role requires the preparation of new hire letters, rejection letters, and other correspondence through Workday, ensuring that all new hire and transfer packets are accurate and thorough. This position is essential in maintaining the high standards of recruitment that St. Luke's University Health Network is known for, contributing to our commitment to excellence in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all recruitment efforts for assigned departments.
  • Open, update, and maintain job postings within Workday for assigned departments.
  • Consult with managers regarding staffing needs and employment policies.
  • Screen applications, resumes, and transfer requests.
  • Refer qualified applicants to the appropriate department manager.
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates' capabilities.
  • Check employment references and evaluate credentials/experience.
  • Develop employment offers in accordance with the salary administration program.
  • Make all offers of employment and arrange pre-employment physicals.
  • Initiate employment paperwork and complete required background checks.
  • Prepare new hire letters, rejection letters, and other correspondence through Workday.
  • Complete accurate and thorough new hire/transfer packets.

Requirements

  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's preferred.
  • 3-5 years' high volume recruitment experience required.
  • Certification as SPHR or PHR preferred.
  • Proven ability to multi-task.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday system.
