About the position

The Network Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a technical team that installs and supports High Performance Computing systems and architectures for global companies. This role requires a deep understanding of data center network architectures and protocols, as well as strong leadership skills to manage direct reports effectively. The position involves problem-solving under pressure and familiarity with network automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a technical team responsible for High Performance Computing systems.
• Install and support data center network architectures and protocols.
• Monitor and maintain network performance using alerting systems.
• Implement network automation using frameworks and programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall experience in High Performance Computing systems and architectures.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams with direct reports.
• Deep understanding of data center network architectures (spine and leaf) and protocols (VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, MLAG).
• Knowledge of modern data center fiber optic cabling and connector standards.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with network automation frameworks and programming languages (Ansible, Python, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience supporting hardware and software in a multi-vendor environment.
• Experience with OpenStack cloud computing infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
• Experience supporting Software Defined Networks (SD-WAN).
• Deployment knowledge or experience managing security products (Firewall, IPS/IDS).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• CCNP or equivalent networking experience.
