About the position
The Network Technician at The Commercial & Savings Bank (CSB) is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to team members, ensuring the effective operation of the bank's networking equipment and infrastructure. This role involves monitoring systems for cybersecurity measures, troubleshooting issues, and supporting network users with their access to resources. The position is essential for maintaining the bank's operational efficiency and security.
Responsibilities
- Installs and maintains bank networking equipment to meet the specifications of the network.
- Troubleshoots with CSB employees and vendors to aid in problem resolution.
- Provides support and technical assistance to network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.
- Enforces the standards for the use, operation, and security of network, personal computer, communications equipment, and data.
- Assists with employee network and communications needs, including bank phones, computers, VPN, and cellphones.
- Collects and analyzes network utilization metrics to ensure efficient network design.
- Assists with daily IT processing, including beginning and end of day processing of systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
