This position will be located in CHANDLER, AZ and requires all work to be performed onsite. Responsibilities

  • Prepares test procedures and documentation to be used from initial design phase through production.
  • Ability to troubleshoot moderate to complex IP networks, which requires in-depth understanding of the ISO layers of IP networking as well as familiarity with routers, switches, and standard IP protocol analyzers.
  • Reports, tracks and monitors product performance, capabilities, and defects.
  • Writes technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.
  • Creation and setup of test fixtures.
  • Ability to create, interpret, modify programming source code in multiple languages for automated test software.

Requirements

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field expertise is required.
  • Minimum 4 + years of experience in Ethernet network systems with routers and switches.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in programming; C/C++, Python and Java preferred.
  • Knowledge in Ethernet, TCP/IP Protocols, VLAN, QoS, Managed Ethernet Switches and Routers.
  • Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP, CCIE), or equivalent is desirable.
  • Familiar with network test equipment, IP traffic analyzers such as Spirent TestCenter and Wireshark, is a plus.
