About the position

As a Network/VTC/IT Support Specialist with TS/SCI clearance at CACI, you will be an integral part of the Special Operations and Asymmetric Solutions Group (SOAS). This role is designed for motivated and innovative professionals who are eager to tackle complex challenges in support of national security missions. You will leverage cutting-edge practices, tools, and technologies to provide essential information solutions and services to Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers. Your contributions will directly support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) contract, where you will help empower the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission, ensuring superiority in positioning, navigation, and timing. In this position, you will provide technical support for a variety of end-user devices, including laptops, printers, tablets, and mobile devices, as well as software applications and network infrastructure. You will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating customer desk-side support for software installations and hardware troubleshooting. Additionally, you will set up and configure new equipment, investigate connectivity issues, and coordinate break/fix installations with hardware maintenance providers. Your role will also involve maintaining IT infrastructure inventory and recommending enhancements to customer service and IT processes based on your research into new technologies. To succeed in this role, you will need to bring relevant experience and a TS/SCI level active clearance, along with a technical degree and Information Assurance Level Technician experience in a large government consulting environment. You will also need to hold an IAT Level I certification, such as CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+. Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support for end user devices hardware (laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices) and peripherals, software (COTS, GOTS, Web), network infrastructure (routers, switches, etc.), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), audiovisual display systems, duress alarms, analog and wireless technologies.
  • Schedules and coordinates customer desk-side support for the installation of new software or to perform hardware or software break/fix activities.
  • Sets up and configures new end user equipment including laptops, mobile devices, printers, copiers, VTC units, VoIP phones and other peripherals.
  • Investigates and resolves all connectivity issues related to end-user, site infrastructure and IT equipment.
  • Actively participates in construction project planning, providing detailed requirements for facility IT specifications.
  • Responsible for the on-site coordination of break/fix installations with hardware maintenance providers, providing after hours support when required.
  • Executes and maintains IT infrastructure inventory information, completing regularly scheduled inventories of all IT cabinets and IT cabinet equipment, updating pictures, drawings and asset information.
  • Recommends customer service and IT process support enhancements by researching and recommending new technologies and processes.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience and a TS/SCI level active clearance.
  • BA/BS technical degree & Information Assurance Level Technician experience in a large government consulting environment.
  • Must have one of the following IAT Level I Certifications: CompTIA A+/CompTIA Network+/EC-Council CND (8570 cert).
