About the position

The entry-level research assistant position at Washington University in St. Louis focuses on applying functional MRI methods to neurodegenerative diseases. Responsibilities

• Use existing analytic software packages (e.g., Freesurfer) to prepare acquired data for analysis.
• Transfer files to the appropriate server on a routine basis.
• Review study database to ensure all data has been entered correctly.
• Observe how to run scripts from image processing under the Principal Investigator (PI) and Postdoc.
• Provide testing questionnaires to study participants upon arrival.
• Assist with statistical computing of image analysis, neuropsychological assessments, demographics, and other data.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• No specific work experience is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with analytics software and coding languages such as MATLAB and Python.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with data entry and data review.
