About the position

Under the guidance of the Neurodiagnostic II and the supervision of the Manager, the Neurodiagnostic Technician performs one or more of several Neurodiagnostic tests. These tests include: EEG; Evoked Potentials; Sleep Studies; Intraoperative Monitoring; Transcranial Doppler.

Responsibilities

• Perform Neurodiagnostic tests including EEG, Evoked Potentials, Sleep Studies, Intraoperative Monitoring, and Transcranial Doppler.
• Work under the guidance of the Neurodiagnostic II and supervision of the Manager.
• Ensure compliance with testing protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Formal classroom training in Neurodiagnostic testing is required.
• Employee must sit for and pass both Part I and Part 2 of the ABRET registration examination.
• Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic technology program or equivalent formal training is required.
• Eligible for part I of the ABRET registration.
• One or more years of clinical experience in Neurodiagnostic testing.
