About the position

Atlantic Health System is seeking dedicated Neurohospitalists to join our expanding Neurohospitalist Division in New Jersey. As part of one of the largest integrated healthcare systems in the state, you will be joining a robust team of 22 neurologists within the Department of Neurology, with plans to grow the Neurohospitalist Division to 8 physicians. This position is designed for those who are passionate about inpatient care and offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a network of 10 Neurology subspecialty divisions. The schedule for this role is structured as 7-on-7-off, providing a balanced work-life dynamic. Importantly, there are no telestroke call responsibilities, EEG reading, or outpatient clinic requirements, allowing you to focus solely on inpatient care. The position also includes opportunities for medical education and research, as well as potential site or system leadership roles. Additionally, you will be involved in a transition of care program, enhancing patient outcomes and continuity of care. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Neurology or eligibility for certification.

  • Experience in a hospital setting as a Neurohospitalist.
