About the position
The Neurological Rehabilitation Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting patients with complex brain injuries by providing high-quality care and assistance in their rehabilitation process. This position involves direct patient interaction, evaluation, and implementation of various neurological rehabilitation protocols, while working closely with a dedicated healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Direct patient interaction for all aspects of patient care including charting, treatment, and follow-ups.
- Learn and understand treatment therapies and processes.
- Coordinate and communicate with the team to ensure patient needs are met.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and therapy techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with computers and software applications.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Able to adapt and be flexible with changes in the day.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in medical documentation (1 year preferred).
