About the position

The Neurological Rehabilitation Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting patients with complex brain injuries by providing high-quality care and assistance in their rehabilitation process. This position involves direct patient interaction, evaluation, and implementation of various neurological rehabilitation protocols, while working closely with a dedicated healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Direct patient interaction for all aspects of patient care including charting, treatment, and follow-ups.
  • Learn and understand treatment therapies and processes.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the team to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and therapy techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and software applications.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Able to adapt and be flexible with changes in the day.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in medical documentation (1 year preferred).
  • Experience in patient care (1 year required).
