About the position

The Swedish Neuroscience Institute's Movement Disorders Program is seeking a board-certified Neurologist to join a large established practice at the Cherry Hill campus in Seattle, Washington. This role focuses on treating patients with movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, tremor, ataxia, and dystonia, without the requirement to see general neurologic conditions. The position offers collaboration with over 60 Neurologists and Neurosurgeons across multiple specialties, providing a built-in referral base and opportunities for research and teaching within a large, academically oriented institute.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on patients with movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease, tremor, ataxia, and dystonia.
  • Collaborate with a large team of Neurologists and Neurosurgeons.
  • Engage in research and teaching activities within the Swedish research center.
  • Participate in active programs in DBS, MRgFUS, and chemodenervation.

Requirements

  • Board certification in Neurology.
  • Fellowship in Movement Disorders required.
