About the position

The Neurology Account Manager for Parkinson's at GE Healthcare is responsible for shaping the Go To Market Strategy for SPECT Imaging Tracer DaTscan and quantification software DaTQUANT. This role involves driving sales revenue, product differentiation, and commercial strategy within the Parkinson's care area, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in sales strategies. The position requires working with a diverse range of healthcare professionals to promote diagnostic solutions for neurodegenerative diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business plans and execution strategies for key imaging centers and referring physicians
  • Pre-call planning and in-call questioning to understand customer needs, craft solutions and drive utilization
  • Collaborate with market access support teams to optimize payor contract implementation and satisfaction across imaging centers and hospitals
  • Monitor territory plan performance, communicate results and action steps to all cross-functional partners
  • Develop deep knowledge of diagnostic algorithms and care pathways for neurodegenerative diseases
  • Communicate Pharmaceutical Diagnostic's Neurology team's strategy and goals to cross-functional team members and customers
  • Manage account relationships with hospitals and imaging centers to offer imaging services using DaTscan
  • Generate patient referrals by educating community physicians and specialists about diagnostic tools
  • Create relationships with key targets to convey valuable information and earn access to physicians
  • Compile lists of prospective customers and sales leads; follow up as necessary
  • Work with account managers to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities
  • Make cold calls to potential customers as required
  • Provide pricing strategy, manage contracts, and ensure pricing compliance
  • Forecast orders and sales for the assigned territory and submit monthly reports
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products and company
  • Achieve individual sales targets for the assigned territory
  • Develop deep knowledge of DaTscan, DaTQUANT and other portfolio products to articulate key selling messages
  • Understand the imaging marketplace including business goals and products used in hospitals and imaging centers
  • Profile patient flow from prescriber request to scan interpretation and reporting
  • Identify top referring prescribers and impact decision-making criteria for utilizing GE Neurology's imaging agents

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or valid certification through the NMTCB or AART
  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience in medical, healthcare, technical, pharmaceutical or Life Sciences field
  • Experience selling into hospitals and relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Proven track record of sales success and meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales objectives while complying with regulatory guidelines
  • Strong selling, analytical skills, and pharmaceutical industry acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities effectively
  • Willingness to reside in the territory
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30% overnight
  • Valid driver's license
