About the position

The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor to provide clinical care for adults with neurological disorders, focusing on general neurology in an outpatient setting. The role involves working closely with Harris Health Systems, primarily at two community health clinics in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services in outpatient settings for adults with neurological disorders.
  • Staff outpatient clinics at Gulfgate Health Center and Martin Luther King Jr. Health Center.
  • Devote 100% effort to clinical services with Harris Health Systems.

Requirements

  • MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree.
  • Successfully completed residency training in adult neurology in an ACGME-accredited program.
  • Board-eligible/board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
  • Fellowship training is not required but will be considered.
  • Open to applicants who have just completed training or those with previous clinical experience.
