About the position

The Neurology Sales Manager for Parkinson's at GE Healthcare is responsible for shaping the US strategy for the Alzheimer's care area, leading a sales team to capture market share in a rapidly growing market. This role focuses on driving sales revenue, product differentiation, and commercial strategy within the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics portfolio, specifically for the PET Amyloid Imaging Agent (Vizamyl). The manager will work cross-functionally to support customers and drive clinical adoption across the GE Healthcare portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for 9 Direct Reports in the West Region of the US (TX, NM, AZ, CA, NV, UT, CO, WY, ID, MT, OR, WA, AK, HI)
  • Accountable to achieve the quarterly and yearly Operating Plan for the Region (orders, sales, contribution margin, base costs, operating margin and cash where applicable), together with customer satisfaction and retention
  • Responsible to set appropriate Operating Plan targets based on the market potential, for the members of your team
  • Understand the dynamic Molecular Imaging space and be a trusted advisor to help customers navigate the radiopharmaceutical imaging marketplace
  • Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities for your region
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy in conjunction with cross-functional team
  • Understand the different call points required for success and the prioritization of these call points
  • Leverage the value of providing referring physician education and office-based resources
  • Collaborate with pharmacy distributors to drive the logistics and delivery of DaTscan
  • Manage relationships with key customers and accounts that require executive level communication
  • Lead strategy, actively participate in, and help close large or critically strategic opportunities
  • Provide Voice of Customers and identify opportunities of continuous improvement
  • Attend key conferences to represent the GEHC Neurology Portfolio
  • Drive collaboration, community, and one GEHC mindset with counterparts and their sales teams
  • Attract, retain, educate and develop world-class commercial talents
  • Coach and drive adoption of sales teams utilization of GEHC CRM Salesforce
  • Responsible to communicate, execute and leverage the Variable Sales Incentive plans with their teams.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation
  • At least 2 years of prior sales management experience
  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))
  • Willingness to travel 20-50% of time to customer meetings and to coach sales teams.

  • Neurology commercial background in the market is a plus
