About the position
PIH Health is seeking a Neurotology/Otology Physician to join their growing team. This role involves managing hearing and balance disorders, cochlear implants, and lateral skull base disorders in both children and adults. The physician will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team that includes audiologists, fellows, and neurosurgeons.
Responsibilities
- Manage hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages.
- Perform cochlear implants and treat lateral skull base disorders.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including audiologists and neurosurgeons.
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient care.
- Diagnose and treat otologic and neurotologic conditions.
Requirements
- Hold an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree or equivalent.
- Board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology.
- Eligible for a California medical license.
- Completed an accredited ACGME fellowship in Neurotology.
- Board certified or eligible for certification in Neurotology by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
