About the position

The New Account Manager at Peoples Bank is responsible for supervising the Indianola Personal Bankers, Contact Center Representatives, and Tellers. This role involves maintaining and managing various banking accounts and services while ensuring that the Retail Banking staff is trained on vendor updates. The position emphasizes customer service and relationship building, aligning with the bank's commitment to helping customers achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Indianola Personal Bankers, Contact Center Representatives, and Tellers.
• Train Retail Banking staff on vendor updates such as merchant processing and credit cards.
• Open, close, and maintain checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposits, IRAs, and safe deposit boxes.
• Manage ATM/Debit Cards and online banking services.
• Provide exceptional customer service and solve a variety of customer service problems.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of Retail Banking experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Exceptional people skills, including oral and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and possess good computer skills.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
