About the position

As a Change Manager at North Highland, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our clients' operations and ensuring successful change implementation. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the change requirements and develop a comprehensive communication narrative that includes building common terminology among stakeholders. You will update the change and stakeholder group impacts based on a thorough assessment of the current versus future state, documenting the complexity and business criticality of the change for each stakeholder group. You will be tasked with creating a detailed Change & Communication Strategy that outlines high-level activities planned for managing the change throughout the project and the future state changes for stakeholders. This includes analyzing results and providing insights for the Change Readiness Assessment Report, developing key messages, and drafting leader talking points. You will partner with the Strategic Enablement & Change team and People Business Partner to conduct change readiness listening sessions and maintain a Change Management & Communication Risk Tracker. In the implementation phase, you will draft communications content to help leadership convey the vision and rationale behind the change, ensuring that concerns and areas of resistance are documented and addressed in collaboration with the Assurant team. You will identify learning needs and coordinate with the Learning & Development Team to onboard them effectively. Additionally, you will help develop strategies to launch a change champion network and ideate recommendations for recognition throughout the implementation to maintain high engagement levels across affected groups. Your role will also involve stakeholder analysis, impact assessment documentation, and the development of key personas, refined messages, job aids, FAQs, and leadership updates. You will execute the communication plan and maintain success by documenting best practices and lessons learned to inform future phases of the project. Finally, you will analyze results and provide insights for post-phase feedback surveys, ensuring continuous improvement in our change management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the Change and develop communication narrative including building common terminology.
  • Update change and stakeholder group impacts based on current vs. future state assessment.
  • Document degree of complexity and business criticality of the change per stakeholder group.
  • Document Change & Communication Strategy with high level change and communication activities planned.
  • Analyze results and provide insight for Change Readiness Assessment Report.
  • Develop communication narrative & key messages and leader talking points.
  • Partner with Strategic Enablement & Change team and People Business Partner to conduct change readiness listening sessions.
  • Implement the Change by drafting communications content for leadership.
  • Document stakeholder concerns and areas of resistance and partner with the Assurant team to address them.
  • Identify learning needs and coordinate with Learning & Development Team.
  • Onboard learning and development team by providing key communications and results from impact assessment.
  • Partner in the development of strategy and plan to launch change champion network.
  • Ideate recommendations for recognition throughout the implementation to keep engagement high.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, identification, and management in partnership with People Business Partners.
  • Document what's changing (impact assessment) and develop key Personas.
  • Refine Key Messages, Leader Talking Points, Job Aids, FAQs, and Manager Conversation Guides.
  • Execute the communication plan and maintain Change Champion Network Strategy & Plan.
  • Document best practices and lessons learned to inform Phase 2 of the project.
  • Analyze results and provide insight for post-phase 1 feedback survey.

Requirements

  • Experience with PeopleSoft and/or UKG.
  • Experience in acquisitions or new facility opening.
  • Pharmaceutical/Healthcare experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Willingness to travel onsite in Kansas City, MO and/or Tampa/Orlando, FL.
