About the position

As a Premier Mid-Market Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in expanding our Premier sales segment by driving new business sales with companies operating trucks across the US. This position involves managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, requiring a proactive and results-oriented approach. The role offers opportunities for advancement into Enterprise segments and sales leadership, and it is a remote position with some travel required for customer meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business logos while meeting or exceeding monthly revenue quotas.
  • Navigate a complex 4-6 month sales cycle including prospecting, sales campaigns, discovery, qualification, negotiation, and closing.
  • Maintain a high level of outbound lead generation through cold calling and strategic outreach, consistently hitting KPI metrics.
  • Lead discovery calls, demos, and trials to understand the business challenges and goals of potential customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with related departments such as Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in accurate sales forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years of SaaS closing experience in a new logo driven role required.
  • Ability to work in MST, CST, or EST time zones.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals (e.g., President's Club, Rep of the Year).
  • Experience partnering with Sales Engineers and SDRs, and trial or POC experience preferred.
  • Strong professional consultative sales methodology and negotiation skills (MEDDIC/MEDDPICC a plus).
  • Technical acumen to demonstrate a moderately technical product to prospects and lead trials.
  • Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and be a creative problem solver.
  • Consultative nature to navigate the complexities and needs of clients across various industries and sizes.
  • Strong ownership attitude from prospecting to negotiations and closing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC sales methodologies.
  • Familiarity with technical product demonstrations.
