About the position

As a Business Sales Lead, you will have expertise and an in-depth experience in the Learning and Capability Development space, playing an important role in our business's growth by creating sales strategies tailored to the learning sector. You will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, nurturing new relationships and supporting the continued expansion of our footprint in this dynamic market. As a credible, senior-level business growth specialist, you will lead the development of the growth strategy in the US for our Learning and Capability brand, Nazaré. Nazaré is our leading Learning and Capability brand, creating learning experiences that inspire immediate and lasting change in performance. You will report to the Chief Growth Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends and opportunities within the learning sector.
  • Develop and refine sales strategies and go-to-market plans for the US market.
  • Increase revenue by identifying and targeting important accounts and clients.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with decision makers and partners in the learning and capability development space.
  • Ensure daily/weekly action against the growth canvass that delivers results in lead generation, qualification, and conversion to sales.
  • Raise the company's profile in the market through marketing and main events.
  • Work with sales enablement and marketing teams to ensure relevant assets and content are available to showcase services.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies within the event space.
  • Recommend and implement innovative strategies to differentiate offerings and stay ahead of competitors.

Requirements

  • 10 years plus experience in sales and business growth with a demonstrable record of success.
  • Credible expertise within the training, learning, and capability development market.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to inspire and develop positive working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
  • A well-connected background/established network within the Meetings, Events, and Exhibitions environments.
  • Experience taking the lead on developing credentials and presentations to resonate with target clients.
  • Integrity in your approach to developing new business.
