About the position

The Business Development Manager at Resilux Americas is a remote, full-time role focused on acquiring new business opportunities within the Food segment of the PET industry. This position requires a proactive approach to identify and develop relationships with brand owners, co-fillers, and co-packers, driving sales of PET preforms and bottles. The role involves managing existing accounts, understanding customer needs, and implementing growth strategies to achieve profitability targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients in the Food segment.
  • Generate leads and manage the growth pipeline.
  • Make and give presentations to prospective and existing clients.
  • Drive the end-to-end sales process for PET preforms and bottles.
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts.
  • Develop and implement Food growth strategy, sales plans, and forecasts.
  • Promote and market Resilux products and services.
  • Manage existing accounts and provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Develop and manage client relationships to grow business.
  • Understand customer needs and develop value propositions for key accounts.
  • Manage gross margin to meet profitability targets.
  • Gather market intelligence related to Food customers and PET competitors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in sales/marketing within the beverage industry.
  • Packaging experience preferred but not required.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the packaging industry may substitute for a degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% across a multi-state region.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in cross-selling complementary items.
  • CRM proficiency, including management of pipeline and quotes.
