About the position

The New Business Development role in Personal Lines at HUB International involves managing client insurance programs, particularly for High-Net-Worth clientele. The position focuses on building and maintaining relationships with clients and insurance carriers, conducting thorough reviews of client coverage, and negotiating favorable terms. The selected candidate will work closely with the Vice President and contribute to the growth of HUB's market share in the Personal Lines insurance sector.

Responsibilities

  • Contact decision-making individuals of prospective Personal Lines insurance clients directly to secure their interest in HUB services.
  • Schedule new business appointments for HUB Producers to present HUB services to prospects and discuss present and future needs.
  • Quote, negotiate, and propose high-level reviews for prospective HUB prospects within the Private Client space.
  • Work together with Producers on specific industry-focused campaigns to broaden HUB's market share in identified verticals.
  • Assist Producers in communicating with prospects via phone and/or email to move the sales process along and gather necessary underwriting information.

Requirements

  • College degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
