About the position

The New Business Development Sales Manager at Toppan Photomasks is responsible for developing specific product lines targeting novel photo lithography market segments in the US, including AR/VR, Nano Imprint, and Semiconductor sectors. This role involves overseeing strategic business plans, managing a team of Account Managers, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing to align product offerings with customer needs. The position also requires direct engagement with customers to generate new business and manage complex accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic New Business Development (NBD) business plans targeting specific market segments.
  • Manage a team of Account Managers within the NBD market.
  • Create and update annual sales plans for NBD, providing regular status updates to management.
  • Collaborate with EU and Japan to establish pricing strategies for NBD markets.
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing to enhance the NBD product roadmap based on customer needs.
  • Engage with customers alongside Account Managers to generate new orders.
  • Attend customer technology forums and industry events to promote NBD products and services.
  • Evaluate and implement promotional strategies for industry events.
  • Manage complex accounts that are critical to the company.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years related experience, preferably in the Semiconductor industry.
  • Solid understanding of the sales process and customer interactions at a middle management and technical level.
  • Strong practical and technical knowledge of technology applications relevant to the product or service offered.
  • Experience in program and project management.
  • College degree in a Technical or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in a semiconductor company or related product/service company in the same market area.
