About the position

The New Business Development Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to generate revenue and drive company growth. This role involves researching potential clients, building relationships, and pitching products or services, with a primary focus on Periodic and Frequent Inspection programs while consulting on industry compliance standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients and market segments to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to target new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders through networking, cold calling, and meetings.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to showcase offerings and address client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to deliver customized solutions and support client success.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close sales and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and market trends using CRM software and other tools.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance, market insights, and competitive activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other sales tools.
  • Related field experience or bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
  • Proven track record of success in new business development and sales, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills, focusing on achieving results and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive strategic decisions.
