About the position

The New Business Specialist role at Monrovia Internal Medicine and Primary Care (MIMPC) is a commission-only position focused on generating new telemedicine and urgent care business. The ideal candidate will be a motivated salesperson with a strong background in medical sales, capable of building relationships and promoting the company's services. This position is fully remote and offers the potential for significant income growth based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions for clients
  • Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track leads and opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with prospective clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
  • Manage and grow key client accounts through effective account management practices

Requirements

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
  • 2 years of Medical business development experience
  • 5 years Medical Sales experience in a professional services environment such as pharmaceutical company, hospital, or large medical practice
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in business/marketing/communications
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in technology sales or related field
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales or technical sales roles

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA degree a plus but not necessary
  • Experience in technology sales
