About the position

As a New Car Salesperson at Kearny Mesa Ford/Kia, you will be responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles while striving to meet sales quotas. This role requires efficiency, ambition, and strong organizational skills to assist customers in selecting the right vehicle for their needs and ensuring a positive buying experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered for sale.
• Establish and fulfill daily, weekly, and monthly prospecting and sales goals.
• Assist customers entering the dealership and answer their questions.
• Offer test drives to prospects and follow dealership procedures for identification.
• Keep abreast of new products, features, and accessories available.
• Refer closed deals to the finance and insurance (F&I) manager with completed paperwork.
• Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery and explain operating features and paperwork.
• Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize service quality.
• Maintain a buyer follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California state sales license.
• Valid Driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.
