About the position

The Customer Service Representative will assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise, ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role involves operating the cash register, maintaining store operations, and promoting strong customer service. The representative will also assist in merchandising and inventory management while adhering to store policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise.
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
  • Maintain store operations including stocking shelves and merchandising inventory.
  • Keep the store and displays neat and clean.
  • Assist customers in removing purchases from the store when needed.
  • Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
  • Alert floor supervisor to any illegal customer activity.
  • Support co-workers and assist in training new employees.
  • Review the Corporate Responsibility Policy annually for compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or current high school student.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Cash register experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in textile sorting and houseware production.
