At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a small, passionate team, you will work on launch vehicles, space vehicles, and launch facility systems for New Glenn. This critical role leads the propulsion engineering disciplines and associated scope required to certify the New Glenn launch vehicle in direct support of the National Security Space Launch program. You will provide leadership in achieving the required certifications for providing launch services for critical national security payloads. To be successful in this role, you will develop and maintain positive relationships across the New Glenn program and our US government partner at the US Space Force. You must be proactive in planning sophisticated products across many technical subject areas while also developing, delivering, and communicating results in support of government certification requests. You will be in charge of developing, reviewing, and providing certification products, including design, analysis, qualification test data, drawings, reports, etc. Lastly, you must have the resourcefulness and flexibility to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be an incredible team member!
